Vintage Star Burst Earrings

Every ray is a twisted gold rope, cut to a different length so the burst reads irregular the way real light does. At the center, a six-point star set in pavé diamonds — a second star inside the first.

Rope work like this is done by hand, wire by wire, and then soldered into position one at a time. There's no mold that produces this. It's why the mid-century houses that did it well are the ones still worth collecting.

These are the earrings you wear when you don't want a necklace. Face-framing, warm against skin, and unmistakably gold from across a room.
